Fall is such a wonderful time of year.  The beautiful fall colors make for great pictures too!  Don't forget to start taking  pictures of school and scout activities for your school year scrapbook!

Summer is Here!

A gradual climb to the 90s would have been nice, but the cold weather is still to fresh in my mind to complain too much !!

A Keepsake Recipe Book is a Great Gift.

A keepsake scrapbook/recipe book is a great gift idea for a bridal shower, Mother's Day and even birthdays.

Contact mothers, grandmothers and other family members and ask them for "famous" family recipes and also ask for a funny story that goes along with the recipe, maybe from when they tried to make it the first time or what special occassions it was served at. You could include pictures of the 'grandmothers" from whom the recipes originated or pictures of functions the dish was served at or a picture of the dish. Or if they have the "original recipe" handwritten by the person that could be scanned in put in the book.  What a wonderful keepsake to have all these recipes in one place, but the stories and memories are what will make this a truly special gift.

A Great Mother's Day Gift!!

Include pictures of her throughout her life. Secretly, "interview" her and include her memories and thoughts and stories. Include stories from other members of the family. Or focus on how she has affected your life with memories and stories from you. Either way, it's the stories and memories are what... will truly make this a very special gift.

Currently I am working on a book for my son's cub scout den!  It's a lot of fun, especially since I know all the kids!

Over the holiday I completed two books for customers.  Coincidentally, they were both books of grandchildren.
